As I wade my way through the muddiness of paint and color I find truth from the act of painting.  The sub-consciousnesses emerges in symbolic forms and arrangements of composition.  The understanding of my existences is revealed by moments of the past made clear to me as I watch my children discover the world around them.

The Red Dresser: Representing birth and discovery.  When you go through some-one’s belongings such as a dresser or a trunk you discover a part of them.  Light reveals some truth into the sub-consciousness of being.  Red playing the part of internal existence. A doll/puppet lies in a drawer lifeless.  Coffin like environment death and birth are one in the same.  A child reaches for a bottle on the dresser.  Discovery or curiosity into maturity.  Window behind the child.  Window is close reflecting part of the internal...
