Family Garden
Forever We Grow Togehter
Houses take root like memories, their foundations woven into the earth, rising tenderly toward the sky. Two have just begun to sprout, fragile yet full of promise, stretching upward with the quiet certainty of belonging. This piece marks the beginning—a moment of transformation, of life expanding in ways both seen and unseen.
One of the first paintings in A Roaming House | a journey home, Family Garden grew from the profound experience of welcoming our last two children—twins—into the world. Their arrival reshaped our landscape, adding new voices to the chorus, new light to the horizon. Here, home is not a place but a living thing, ever-growing, ever-reaching, bound by love and the passage of time.

Family Garden
Houses rise from the earth like seedlings,
roots entwined in time and love.
Two just breaking through the soil,
tender, reaching, stretching above.
The air hums with whispered beginnings,
soft echoes of laughter yet to be.
A home not built, but grown in moments,
a quiet blooming, wild and free.
Hands once empty now cradle the new,
twins like sunlight, warm and bright.
Their presence shapes the shifting sky,
stars igniting in the night.
This is the garden where love takes root,
where walls breathe and windows dream.
A roaming house, a journey home,
flowing like an endless stream.
